Terms & Conditions

BOOKING TERMS

• Only when the 10% deposit is received the booking is secured
• The 10% deposit to secure the date and items is non-refundable
• Client agrees to Take A Seat Hire terms and conditions by first monetary transaction
• It is the responsibility of the client to read the terms and conditions of hire

CANCELLATION POLICY

• The client has up until 14 days prior to make the final instalment, if cancellation occurs after this point the client will not be refunded any monies
• The client has up until 14 days prior to make the final instalment, if cancellation occurs before this point the client will be refunded a percentage of monies excluding deposit.

CHAIR COVERS AND SASHES

• Chair covers are not to be stood on at any time
• The foot on the chair is to be properly inserted into the foot pocket on the chair cover
• Covers are not to be put on chairs that are located on outdoor surfaces
• If the client neglects to inform Take A Seat that chairs are to be located on outdoor surfaces, Take A Seat reserves the right to refuse installation of covers or instead come up with an alternative
• Chairs are not to be moved from the location, once the covers are installed
• Covers are not to be pulled underneath the chair if foot pockets become broken
• Any damaged, lost or stolen goods will be paid for upon returning the items ($10.00 per cover, $2.00 sash)
• Take A Seat Hire reserves the right to contact the client up until two weeks after event has taken place if not all stock has been returned or has been damaged to be compensated

AMERICANA CHAIRS

• Americana chairs are not to be stood on at ANY TIME (they are not step ladders)
• Chairs are not to be left in public areas without supervision
• The chairs are to be stored in a locked safe place when hiring may exceed over-night
• Chairs are to be returned the next day (arrangements may be made if you require more time)
• Any lost, stolen or damaged goods are to be paid for upon returning the items or when being collected ($80.00 per chair)
• Chairs are to be transported inside of a vehicle or caged trailer – this excludes the use of a ute
• If any injury and or death results in the use of the chairs hired by the client, it is the sole responsibility of the client whom hired the chairs
• Take A Seat relinquishes any and all responsibility of the chairs once they have been hired but remain the sole owners of the stock being hired
